BLT Fish /Fish Shack…I know what you are thinking, based on what BLT generally stands for that, that’s a weird combination or it’s all wrong but, on the contrary, they got it all right at BLT.

BLT stands for Bistro Laurent Tourondel. Laurent, a classically trained French chef, in his early career traveled globally and worked in some of the world’s most impressive kitchens. Upon his return to New York, he not only began serving as the current executive chef of the esteemed Brasserie Ruhlmann, but also went on to conceptualizes the line of impeccable BLT Restaurants.

BLT Fish is a super swanky, special occasion type of spot located on the top floor with an awesome ambiance. And, you must be prepared to spend a pretty penny when you dine there but, the food is SO worth it. However, if you’re OK with a more scaled down experience but with the same great quality of food and uber attentive, friendly staff, then try the Fish Shack on the lower level.

Very nautical in appearance, the Fish Shack offers variety of different seafood items and even has a raw bar. Everything is super fresh and clean tasting.  It sort of reminds me of being back home in California at a beach-side restaurant minus the beach that is and not to mention, they have the best peel and eat shrimp EVER.

The Fish Shack is open for lunch/dinner and the manager, John, will ensure that you are very well taken care of. If you decide to give them a try…Tell them I sent you!

  1. Hi there, There’s no doubt that your web site might be having internet browser compatibility problems.
When I take a look at your web site in Safari, it looks fine however, when opening in I.E., it’s
got some overlapping issues. I merely wanted to give you a
quick heads up! Besides that, great website!
