Although, I have gone on and on about Mexican food and Taco Shops, that’s not all I ate.  As I stated in the previous post, San Diego has some really amazing eateries.

So, here’s a peek at my foodie journal…

We went to Cafe 21 for brunch and were pleasantly surprised. The weather was beautiful so we dined outside. Their food is a mix of fresh, local ingredients with a Turkish twist.

Cafe 21

This was actually a sit down restaurant that had a grown and sexy ambiance and great drinks. Located on the Harbor in what use to be the old county jail, they have transformed this old space to a perfect place to congregate with friends or family.

789 West Harbor Drive
San Diego, CA 92101

They say a picture is worth a 1,000 words, well these should explain it all….We came, we ate, we conquered!!! I felt like the greediest person in the world after this but it was damn good!

4646 Convoy Street
San Diego, CA 92111

If given the choice, I would ALWAYS pick savory over sweet, but this place….

It just made me happy and then they had the nerve to warm my brownie before they put the butter pecan ice cream on it. It was pure epicosity!

The Baked Bear
4516 Mission Blvd.
San Diego, CA 92109

Honorable Mentions:

I didn’t get to eat at either of these places but they are some of my faves….

The Old Spaghetti Factory
275 5th Avenue
San Diego, CA
Rockin Baja Lobster
3890 Twiggs Street
San Diego, CA 92110
